Job Overview:
Ensure quality compliance of piping systems for industrial projects, adhering to Aramco standards and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of piping installations and welds
- Verify compliance with project specifications and codes
- Review welding procedures and qualifications
- Document inspection results and non-conformities
- Coordinate with construction teams for quality issues
- Ensure proper material certification and traceability
Requirements:
- Aramco approval with valid CBT certification
- CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent certification
- 5+ years piping inspection experience in oil/gas
- Thorough knowledge of ASME B31.3, API 570
- Experience with NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT)
2. Welding QCI (Quality Control Inspector)
Job Overview:
Monitor and control welding operations to ensure compliance with Aramco and international quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect welds and welding procedures
- Verify welder qualifications and certifications
- Monitor pre/post-weld heat treatment
- Review welding consumables and storage
- Maintain weld maps and inspection records
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections
Requirements:
- Aramco approval with valid CBT certification
- AWS/CWI or CSWIP 3.2 certification
- 5+ years welding inspection experience
- Knowledge of ASME Section IX, API 1104
- Familiarity with welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications for Both Roles
- Saudi Aramco project experience
- ASNT NDT Level II certifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgical)
- Arabic language skills
